December 14 Vigil for Sandy Hook picture

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a Sandy Hook Vigil on December 14, 2017 at the corner of Mathilde and El Camino from 5-6pm. We need better gun control in the United States so more can live in peace rather than die from gun violence.

Sunnyvale Voices for Peace...

...is a nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to achieving worldwide peace and social justice by thinking globally and acting locally. SVP was founded in 2006 and is based in Sunnyvale, California.

SVP was inspired by and works with Mountain View Voices for Peace and Justice, Los Altos Voices for Peace, Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, and The Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church Peacemaking and Social Justice group.

Everyone is welcome.

We are especially interested in working with other peace and social justice promoting organizations, churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, individuals, etc. in (or near) Sunnyvale.

We have a Yahoo group for announcements and discussion. All peace-related topics are welcome as long as the discussion is positive and civil. SPAM and personal attacks are not allowed. Open-mindedness, tolerance, and friendly discussions are encouraged.

Interested in having your peaceful voice heard? Please attend one of the events listed on the Peace and Justice Calendar.
